1: Trim your flank steaks of any excessive fat. Lay flat into a baking/serving dish and slice into the steak diagonally about 1/4 inch deep with a knife. Turn 90° and slice again. 2: Combine marinade ingredients. Mix together until combined. Pour over top your steak. Cover and place into the fridge for at least one hour, or up to 24. 3: Remove from fridge and let rest while you preheat a pan to medium high heat. 4: Once heated, add your steak to the pan and cook on each side for about 5 minutes until a nice sear forms. Cook to your desired doneness, but flank steak is perfect at medium. 5: Remove from pan once done and let rest for 10 minutes. Once rested, slice across the grain into long thin strips, then cut into short strips. 6: Serve and enjoy in nachos, tacos, burrito, or just eat it plain!
