If chicken is frozen, thaw it by soaking in a bowl of warm water for about an hour. Take the chicken breasts and beat them thin, to about 1/2 to 3/4 inch thickness. Season each chicken breast with approximately 1/2 to 1 teaspoon each of garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and Italian seasoning, plus a few pinches of black pepper. Drizzle a little olive oil on the chicken and massage the seasonings into it. Heat a large pan to medium heat and add a little more olive oil. Lay the seasoned chicken breasts in the pan and cook for 6 to 7 minutes per side, until a nice golden brown crust forms and the chicken is cooked through. Remove the chicken from the pan, let it rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve.
