Crockpot Chicken Tortilla Soup

An easy crockpot meal you can throw together quickly and fuel your family with whole nutrient dense foods. This version uses rice instead of tortillas in the soup, but can be topped with chips.

What you need

can black beans

cup cheddar cheese

tbsp chili seasoning mix

yellow onion

cup tomato sauce

orange
lb chicken breast
oz fresh tomatoes

bell pepper
lime

oz tomato paste
Instructions
1.) Prepare your vegetables. Add all ingredients together into the crockpot. 2.) Set to high setting on crock pot. Cover and let cook for 2-3 hours. If adding tortilla chips, you can add those in the last 20 minutes of cooking. Add in cheddar cheese and stir to combine. 3.)
