What you need

tbsp heavy cream

cup corn meal

cup all purpose flour

cup white sugar

tsp baking soda

cup brown sugar

tbsp baking powder

cup buttermilk

tsp table salt
egg
Instructions
1.) Combine all your dry ingredients. 2.) Melt and brown your butter over medium heat. Once it starts to bubble be sure to keep moving it just until it browns. Once it’s browns remove it from the heat. Pour it into a glass container and place into the freezer to cool for a few minutes. 3.) Mix wet ingredients into dry. Stir to combine. Add in browned butter and stir. This is the game changer here! 4.) Spray a 9x9 glass baking dish. Pour in batter. Bake at 375° for about 25 minutes or until center no longer jiggles. I occasionally cover mine with foil if the outsides are browning before the center is done. 5.) Top with butter and honey mixed together. ENJOY!View original recipe
