What you need

lb ground beef
sweet onion

tbsp balsamic vinegar

tbsp brown sugar

tbsp maple syrup

tsp crushed red pepper

slice cheddar cheese

hamburger bun
Instructions
1: Slice your bacon into small chunks. Dice your onion and heat a large pan over medium heat. 2: Add a tbsp of olive oil to a pan and then add in your onions. Cook until softened. Add your balsamic vinegar. Stir and continue cooking. Then add in your diced bacon. 3: Once onions are fully softened, add in the brown sugar, maple syrup, and pepper flakes. Stir to combine. Cook for another few minutes and remove from heat. 4: Loosely form your patties and cook to your desired doneness. 5: Butter your buns and toast them. Layer hot sauce on the bottom bun, then bacon jam, burger, cheese, more bacon jam, then ketchup and the top bun.View original recipe
