What you need

cup sourdough starter
egg

tbsp olive oil
tbsp honey
tsp salt
cup flour
Instructions
1: Combine all but your flour in a large mixing bowl. Stir briefly to combine. 2: Add your flour and mix by hand, or with a stand mixer, until dough comes together and is smooth and less tacky. 3: Place into a greased bowl, cover and let rest until it doubles in size. 4: Once doubled, dump onto a well floured counter and divide into 8 equal pieces. 5: Grab each piece and fold in the corners, then pinch together the seams until it's fully closed. 6: Roll beneath your palm until your ball tightens up then roll beneath your hand to stretch it into a hotdog shape. 7: Place each loaf onto a large parchment covered baking sheet. 8: Cover with a towel and let rise for a few hours until nice and poofy. 9: Brush with an egg wash and bake at 375°F for 15-20 minutes until they reach your desired level of brownness on top. 10: Let cool on a rack. Enjoy within a week or freeze and use as needed.View original recipe
