Prep garlic by chopping off the tops and placing it in foil. Drizzle with olive oil and place in the oven at 400° for 20-30 minutes.
Prepare the cheese filling by mixing cream cheese, ricotta cheese, Parmesan and mozzarella cheese, egg, basil, garlic powder, thyme, oregano, salt, and pepper together and set aside.
For the meat sauce, brown the ground beef and sausage. Add marinara sauce and tomato sauce and stir. Remove from heat.
Assembly starts with layering meat sauce at the bottom of a 9x13 dish, followed by lasagna noodles, cheese filling, and shredded cheese. Repeat this process three times.
For the fourth layer, add noodles, cheese filling, cheeses, and fresh basil on top.
Cover with foil and bake at 375° for 20 minutes.
For garlic bread, lay bread on a large cookie sheet. Once garlic is roasted, cool and squeeze into a bowl, smashing it into a paste.
Melt butter and stir in garlic paste with a pinch of salt. Brush onto the bread.
After 20 minutes, remove the foil from lasagna and place garlic bread in the oven on the lower rack to bake for 20 minutes together.
Let the lasagna settle for 10 minutes, cut, and serve.
