
Sourdough Popovers

These sourdough popovers, accompanied by sweet cinnamon butter, are easy to make and are perfect for all ages. This recipe yields 12 popovers.

What you need

cup milk

cup sourdough bread

tsp salt

cup flour

cup butter

cup powdered sugar

tbsp honey

tsp vanilla

tsp cinnamon
Instructions
1: Crack your eggs and whisk together with your milk. Add in your sourdough start, discard or active work fine either way, and salt, then whisk together. 2: Whisk in your flour until all large clumps disappear. Shouldn’t be beaten into a perfect consistency. 3: Pour into a container that will allow you to easily pour into your muffin pan. 4: Preheat oven to 450°F with muffin pan in the oven. Once preheated, remove the muffin pan and spray with nonstick spray. Pour in your popover batter until nearly full. 5: Whisk your butter ingredients together until smooth. Set aside. 6: Place into oven and bake for 15 minutes. Lower heat to 375°F and bake for an additional 15 minutes. Remove and allow to cool, then remove popovers and let cool on a rack or enjoy immediately with your delicious cinnamon butter.View original recipe
