
Steak Quesadilla
A delicious steak quesadilla recipe featuring flat iron steaks, colorful peppers, sweet onions, sweet corn, and cheddar cheese, all layered in homemade tortillas, served with a savory cilantro herb butter sauce and a creamy sour cream sauce for dipping.
What you need

cup sweet corn

cup cilantro

lb flat iron steak

head garlic powder

tbsp hot sauce

butter
sweet onion

tsp rosemary

cup cheddar cheese

cup sour cream

tortilla

snack peppers
head fresh garlic
Instructions
1. Make tortillas by combining flour, salt, butter, and water. Knead, divide, roll flat, and cook until golden brown. 2. Season steaks with salt and pepper. Cook in olive oil on medium-high heat until seared. Set aside. 3. Cook peppers and onions until softened with balsamic vinegar and salt. Caramelize then remove. 4. Cook sweet corn in butter and salt. Remove and set aside. 5. Melt butter, add minced garlic, cilantro, garlic powder, and rosemary for herb butter. Add sliced steak to warm through. 6. Set aside remaining herb butter sauce. 7. On a medium heat, layer tortilla on pan with cheese, steak, peppers, onions, corn, more cheese, top with tortilla. Flip when browned. Repeat. 8. Combine cilantro, sour cream, remaining herb butter, and hot sauce for dipping sauce. 9. Serve quesadillas with the dipping sauce and enjoy.
